Lightning Made Hockey

2019 Lightning Made Holiday Camp

Welcome

Looking for the perfect gift for your youth hockey player for the holiday season? Lightning Made Hockey has you covered! Every year Lightning alumni and staff run a 3-day holiday camp held at Amalie Arena, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning!! This year, camp will run from December 21st - 23rd.

Holiday camp is intended for players of all skill levels between the ages of 5 and 15. Players are split into 2 ages groups; 5-9 years old (9 and under) and 10-15 years old (15 and under). Inside each age group the players are separated by skill level in order to create a competitive atmosphere at camp. Holiday camp follows the USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) to maximize ice time and talent development.

Camp is not just designed for players; goalies will have world class training ran by Lightning alumni and Stanley Cup Champion Mathieu Garon. Mathieu works with goalies on various skills such as positioning and goalie techniques throughout the camp.

Registration for camp includes the following:

  • 2 on-ice sessions and 1 off-ice session per day
  • Lunch provided daily
  • Holiday Themed Jersey
  • And plenty of other Holiday apparel and goodies!!!
