Holiday camp is intended for players of all skill levels between the ages of 6 and 15. Players are split into 2 ages groups; 6-10 years old (10 and under) and 11-15 years old (15 and under).
New to this years Holiday Camp schedule is a GIRLS ONLY GROUP led by former Team USA and NWHL star Kelley Steadman!! Coach Kelley is a two time world champion with Team USA and All-star for the Buffalo Beauts of the NWHL. Girls between the ages of 7 and 17 are invited to join Kelley and Tampa Bay Lightning Alumni for advanced training during our 3-day Holiday Camp at Amalie Arena.
Inside each age group the players are separated by skill level in order to create a competitive atmosphere at camp. Holiday camp follows the USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) to maximize ice time and talent development.
Camp is not just designed for players; goalies will have world class training ran by Lightning alumni and Stanley Cup Champion Mathieu Garon. Mathieu works with goalies on various skills such as positioning and goalie techniques throughout the camp.
